General Steps for Using Silk Screen Silicone

Although each manufacturer's screen printing silicone is different and its performance is different, there is almost no difference in the steps for using screen printing silicone in clothing, signs and other fields. Now use our company's silk screen silicone as an example to give detailed instructions on the usage steps.

Example 1: Silk-print silicone three-dimensional-bright effect on clothing fabrics

1. HD silicone GR-6300 + catalyst GR-50 2%-5% + thinner GR-1000 20%-30% Mix evenly.

This step is used to create a high enough thickness for silk printing to show a three-dimensional effect. The number of printings is determined based on demand.

2. Round silicone GR-6100 + pigment + catalyst GR-50 2%-5% + thinner 20%-30%, mix evenly.

This step is used to silk screen enough colors to achieve the desired color. The number of prints is determined based on the color density.

3. Glossy silicone GR-5100 + catalyst GR-50 2%-3%, mix evenly.

This step is used to create a bright effect, usually screen printing twice.

First time, normal silk screen. Make sure the surface is smooth enough

The second time, use gentle pressure to remove the silk screen. Enhance the shine effect.

4. After the silk screen printing is completed, move the fabric to the oven and bake at 120-130 degrees for 3 minutes before proceeding to the next step.

Example 2: Screen printing silicone three-dimensional-matte effect on clothing fabrics

1. HD silicone GR-6300 + catalyst GR-50 2%-5% + thinner GR-1000 20%-30% Mix evenly.

This step is used to create a high enough thickness for silk printing to show a three-dimensional effect. The number of printings is determined based on demand.
